Niglon RCBO1-40/30SAX2 RCBO SL+N 40A

The Niglon RCBO1-40/30SAX2 is a 40A, Curve B, 30mA Type A RCBO with bi-directional current sensing, designed for lighting and small power circuits in domestic and light commercial installations. Because it detects earth leakage and overcurrent faults in both directions, it is particularly well suited to solar PV systems, where standard single-direction RCBOs can fail to operate correctly when current flows back from the inverter into the consumer unit.

This compact 18mm module combines overcurrent, short circuit and residual current protection in a single device, with switched line and neutral for full isolation during testing or maintenance. The Type A RCD detects both AC and pulsating DC residual currents, making it suitable for circuits feeding modern electronic and inverter based equipment.
